JoAnna Phillips, 68, of Brownsville, Pa., died Sunday, October 23, 2005, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Oakland (Pittsburgh), Pa. Ms. Phillips was a 1956 graduate of Brownsville High School. For many years she worked as a photographer and reporter for the Bentleyville Times and was last employed by the Food Galleria in Peters Township, Pa.

Surviving is a brother, Ronald R. Phillips of Brownsville, Pa. and a special friend, Kathryn Sheets of Brownsville, Pa.

Funeral services are private. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are incomplete and is being handled by the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Route 40, Beallsville, Pa.
