John Brooks
John Brooks, 78, of North Union Township, Pa., departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005. He worked for North Union Township and retired after 30 years of service.
He leaves to mourn him two sons, John Brooks of Alexandria, Va., and Anthony Brooks of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Kate Frances Johnson of Alexandria, Va., and Margaret Reed Brown of Dale City, Va.; one brother, Eugene Brooks of Alexander, Va.; a sister-in-law, Alice Copeland Brooks; one daughter-in-law, Dora Brooks; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and devoted friend, Mildred Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 51 Stewart Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.
