Mary Kathryn (Filmeck) Rulli
Mary Kathryn (Filmeck) Rulli 93, of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Collier, Pa., died Sunday, October 23, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born January 28, 1912, in Collier, Pa., daughter of the late Michael Filmeck and Caroline Potkonovic Filmeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Rulli on November 30, 1998, a sister, Ann Filmeck Petix, five brothers, Joseph, Michael, John, Andrew and Frank Filmeck, an infant brother, Stephen and stepfather, John Gmitter.
Surviving are one sister, Josephine DeLorenzo and her husband, James of Collier, Pa. and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was an active member of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Kensington, Md., and a member of the church choir.
She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday, October 28, 2005, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Saint Rita’s Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, Pa., with the Rev. Father Frank Lesniowski as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Rita’s Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
A Wake Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m.
