Johanna Finnerty
Johanna Finnerty, 80, of South Chestnut Street, Scottdale, Pa., died early Tuesday morning, Oct. 25, 2005, at her residence. She was a retired keypunch operator for Geico of Washington, D.D., with several years of service.
Johanna leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted sisters and brothers, Mimi Finnerty of Scottdale, with whom she resided, Kitty Africa of Sparks, Nev., Sister Hilda Marie Finnerty A.S.C., of Columbia, Pa., John Finnerty and his wife, Marcella of Scottdale, and James Finnerty and his wife, Anna Mae of New Castle; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Johanna’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh St., Scottdale today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a blessing service will be held on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Westmoreland Hospice, 532 West Pittsburgh St., Greensburg PA 15601, in memory of Johanna Finnerty.
