Joseph D. “Donnie” Pirl Sr., 69, of Normalville, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at his home. He is survived by sons, John Pirl of Normalville and Joseph Pirl Jr. of Confluence; daughters, Mrs. Keith (Lisa) Snyder of Stafford, Va. and Sharon Pirl at home; six grandchildren; brothers, John David “J.D.” Pirl of Connellsville and Albert Eugene “Gene” Pirl of Mill Run; sister, Eleanor “Ruthie” Frederick of Connellsville; half brothers, Chester Prinkey, Joseph Wesley Pirl and Wilbert Pirl; and half sisters, Dorothy Ritenour, Margaret Mitchell, Janet Nicholson, Linda Ritenour, and Helen Mays.

Friends will be received at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711, Melcroft until 1 p.m. today.
