One person injured in Smithfield crash

Medical helicopter flew one person from the scene of this accident along Main Street in Smithfield at 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to Fayette County 911. Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department and Fairchance and Uniontown EMS responded to the scene. State police in Uniontown are investigating. No other injuries were reported, according to the 911 center.
