George Jerome (Jerry) Lang, 70, of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away in his home with his family by his side on Oct. 19, 2005. Jerome was born on Oct. 18, 1935, in Uniontown, Pa.

He retired from U.S. Steel.

His parents, James P. (Pete) and Anna M. Lang and a son, Danny Lang preceded him in death.

Viewing was private. MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, Ill., was in charge of funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105.
