Thomas R. Reagan

Thomas Richard Reagan, age 80, who was born May 14, 1925, in Collier, Pa., to Mary (Murphy) and Dennis Reagan, died Monday, October 17, 2005, in St. Louis, Missouri, of congestive heart failure.

He graduated in 1943 from the now former Redstone Township High School, Republic, Pa., and spent two years at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, as a United States Naval student at the rank of Ensign preparing for a degree in engineering.

After World War II ended, he enrolled at Wayne University in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from there with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He was then hired as Chief Engineer-Hydraulics with L&L Manufacturing in Detroit, transferred to Cleveland, Ohio, Chicago, Illinois, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, before he was named Vice President-Sales with Moehilen-Pah Engineering in St. Louis. He retired from there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dennis and George Reagan and sisters, Betty Hepler and Catherine Reeves.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Flora (Cricchi); children: Thomas Reagan Jr. of Lombard, Illinois, Joan and her husband, Dominic Gattuso, of San Francisco, California, and Maureen Reagan of Chicago, Illinois; granddaughter, Kimberly Reagan of Geneva, Illinois; and sisters: Adeline Klingensmith and her husband, Donald, of Hopwood, Pa., and Elaine Miller of Florida.

He donated his body to Washington University St. Louis Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held in March 2006.
