Assault investigated State police in Belle Vernon are investigating an assault that occurred around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the corner of 2nd and Union streets in the borough, Washington County. Police said 19-year-old Zachary Delgreco of Pittsburgh was engaged in a confrontation with an unknown black male when the black male stabbed him in the leg with an unknown object. Police said 19-year-old was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his status is uncertain at this time. Other individuals were involved in the confrontation, police noted.
Police are seeking a tall black male with long dreadlocks who was last seen leaving the scene in a gold-colored Honda, possibly a Civic or Accord, with four or five other black males. He was wearing a red shirt, police said.

Ema Reaggle, 43, told state police around 1:30 p.m. Friday that someone threw a rusty bolt through the front window of her 136 Varndale St. residence. Police said the investigation into the incident continues.

Burglary reported
State police said someone entered the 7 Bouquet St. residence of Richard Fearer, 61, and stole numerous items from the residence sometime between midnight on Aug. 1 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 19. No damage to the door was reported, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Juvenile charged
A 17-year-old Uniontown girl was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after state police stopped her vehicle for speeding along Route 51 near the Oliver Plaza at 4:44 a.m. Saturday.

Charges filed
Ed Fotta, 31, of Lemont Furnace was charged with disorderly conduct after state police responded to a disturbance at 107 Grim Road that involved Scott Williams, 33, of Lemont Furnace at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Deberah L. Kula’s office, police said.

State police said someone stole two Boxer dogs from Kimberly Sue Guthrie’s Springhill Furnace Road residence sometime between 5:10 and 5:25 p.m. Thursday.

State police said someone stole a Pioneer car stereo from the 1977 Ford Econovan of Charles Edward St. Clair of Weavermill Road sometime between midnight and 1 p.m. Thursday.

Someone struck a utility pole guide wire along East Elm Street and fled around 10 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Injuries reported
Vehicle operator Walter Terihay, 65, his passenger Barbara Terihay, 65, and vehicle operator Patricia Coyle, 58, sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Route 40 east at 2:55 p.m. Friday, state police said. The operator of the third vehicle involved in the crash, Barry Seese, 43, was not injured in the accident, police said. Police said each person involved in the accident was wearing a seatbelt.

State police said a two-toned silver 1991 GMC pickup truck was stolen from the driveway of John McGill’s East Washington Avenue residence sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Numerous tools were taken from the Sweitzer Road residence of Vickie L. Underleider sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 11, state police said. Police continue to investigate the incident.

Someone pumped $46 worth of gasoline from the Exxon gas station and then drove from the scene without paying for the fuel around 10 a.m. Thursday, state police said. Police said no suspect information is available.
