Michael T. Krzton
Michael T. Krzton, age 46, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Friday, September 2, 2005, at home with his loving family at his side.
He was born on April 25, 1959, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Ted Krzton and Elsie (Meadows) Krzton of Phillips, Pa., along with Rick Snyder, his stepfather, of Phillips, Pa.
Michael graduated from Laurel Highlands High School Class of 1978.
He was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church and had also been a member of the Hutchinson Gun Club.
“Mike” was an avid sportsman, loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the outdoors.
His battle with cancer was long and very difficult but he faced his illness with courage and abiding faith.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ted Krzton, and his father-in-law, Emil Salansky.
In addition to his mother and his stepfather, he is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Sally Ann (Salansky) Krzton and his daughter, Samantha Nicole Krzton, at home; five sisters: Rebecca Shoaf and her husband, Robert, of Uniontown, Pa., Diane Dowling and her husband, Chuck, of Connellsville, Pa., Mary Ryan and her husband, Ron, of Uniontown, Pa., Sharon Reagan and her husband, Marty, of McKeesport, Pa., and Angela Cortis and her husband, Steve, of Chambersburg, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Margaret Salansky of West Leisenring, Pa.; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 6, until 9 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, with the Rev. Father Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.

Visitation was also held Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
