Blanche G. (Roderick) Wilson, age 82, of Rubles Mill, Pa., died Monday, September 5, 2005, in her home. She was born July 3, 1923, in Rubles Mill, Pa., daughter of the late Glenn H. Roderick and Alma G. King Roderick. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Wilson and two brothers, Donald R. Roderick and Glenn Roderick II.

Surviving are six children: Clarence “Chuck” Wilson and his wife, Marcella of Uniontown, Pa., Richard Wayne Wilson and his wife, Mary of Smithfield, Pa., Terry A. Wilson and his wife, Sharon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rodney James Wilson and his wife, Vannessa of Smithfield, Pa., Gregory Scott Wilson and his wife, Jodie of Gans, Pa., Jennifer L. Morgan and her husband, John “Bill” Morgan of Smithfield, Pa.; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters: Rachel Neverdale and her husband, Fred of Haydentown, Pa., Leymoine Cooley of Smithfield, Pa. and Dorothy Annette Pavlick and her husband, Ronald of Rosedale, Pa.; two brothers: Clarence “Jack” Roderick and his wife, Shirley of Brunswick, Ohio and Irvin I. Roderick of Woodbridge, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.

Blanche was retired from the Smithfield State Bank, Smithfield, Pa.

The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, September 9, 2005, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. John A. Kelley officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be donated to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
