Sept. 10, 2005 Asbury Youth Fellowship will have a car wash today (Saturday, Sept. 10) from 8 a.m. to noon at the church, located at the corner of Dunbar and Beeson Avenue. An incorrect date was listed in Friday’s church briefs.
Newell United Methodist Church will host “4/4 the Shepherd Singing’ on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.
In a recent article about the ribbon cutting for the new Fayette County Mental Health/Mental Retardation building, it should have stated that the event was held Aug. 29. Also, the annual budget of the agency has grown from $17 million in June 1995 to $43 million today.
