Ruth Jane Manown
Ruth Jane Manown, 86, of Belle Vernon, Pa., died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, in the Victoria House in Monessen. Jane was a homemaker and had formerly worked for Pittsburgh Mercantile in Charleroi, The W. T. Grant Company in Southland, and also sold Real Estate for the Collins-Hall Agency.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine J. Aulestia of Westminster, Md.; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; a step great-grandson; a brother, Ralph Magill and wife, Carol; six sisters, Mary Greenawalt and husband, Earl, Dorothy Matty and husband, Henry and Elsie Brundage, all of West Newton, Daryl Shaw and husband, James of Hutchinson, Helen Troup and husband, Millard of Somerset and Joyce Hall of Smock; and six sisters-in-law, Marge Manown, Lorraine Manown, Evelyn Manown, Lee Manown, Mary Manown and Carolyn Manown.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township ((724-929-7934), where funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to the West Newton United Presbyterian Church, Medi Home Hospice or to the charity of one’s choice.
