Bonnie M. Day, 56, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, in Summa Health System Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Calvin and Phillis Rutherford Starkey.

Mrs. Day was a dispatcher for a local telephone and cable company in Ohio.

On Sept. 30, 1995, she married Jack Day, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Rene (Jon) DeLong; a son, James (Julie) Stopka; three stepchildren, Scott (Kelly) Day, Tammy (Steve) Quick and Kristy (James) Campbell; and a brother, Danny (Diane) Starkey.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., on Monday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, and Jefferson, where services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, September 13, 2005.
