John L. Hays Sr.
John L. Hays Sr., 77, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Uniontown, Pa. the son of the now late John L. Hays and Sarah Deemer Hays.
John was a graduate of Uniontown High School Class of 1946.
John was a member of Abundant Life Church, and a member of VFW Post No. 47, and served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific Theatre of Operation during World War II. John was a retired mechanic for Sycamore Bowling Lanes and Mount Vernon Bowl, and he also worked at the RCA plant in Canonsburg, Pa.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Mae Dulin Hays; sons, John L. Hays and wife, Barbara of Forest, Va., and William (Bill) Dulin and wife, Sharoyn (Sherri) of Morgantown, W.Va.; a daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) J. Perkins and husband, James (Jim) of Uniontown, Pa.; six grandchildren, John Edward (Ed) Loukota and wife, Lisa, Katrina Joy Loukota and fianc?, Mike Bloom, Brittany Gean Hays, Michelle D. Oldaker and husband, Donnie, Christopher (Chris) W. Dulin and wife, Tracy Lynn, Joseph (Joey) M. Perkins; and five great-grandchildren, Glenn Nicholas Loukota, Alyssa Ann Loukota, William (Will) Host Oldaker, Benjamin Lee Oldaker and Taylie Marie Dulin..
