Vehicle recovered State police recovered a 1996 Toyota Camry valued at $2,500 from Vankirk Street at 11 a.m. Sunday. Richard Hribal, 42, of Carmichaels was the victim of the car theft, police said.

Two reported missing
State police are looking for Jeremiah Cole, 15, and William Amos Cramer, 14, two Smithfield boys who reportedly ran away together from Strickland Estates at 4 p.m. Saturday and were last seen walking on the north side of Walnut Hill Road, toward a wooded area, police said. Police described Cole as white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, and having blonde hair and brown eyes. Cole was wearing a gray T-shirt with A1 Trucking printed on it, dark nylon pants and black tennis shoes, police said. Police described Cramer as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, and having brown hair and brown hair. Cramer was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes, police said. Police request anyone who may come in contact with the boys to call the Uniontown barracks at 724-439-7111.

DUI arrest
State police arrested a 50-year-old Uniontown man for driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly drove to 3 Main St., where police were on scene for a stolen or recovered vehicle incident at 7 p.m. Saturday. Police said charges are to be filed in the incident.

State police are investigating an incident where Theresa Intorre, 37, of Uniontown said she discovered her white 1990 Buick Century missing Saturday afternoon after it was parked at 89 N. Morgantown Road, then told police she recovered the vehicle with minor front-end damage at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in the borough.

Windows smashed
State police said someone used a blunt object to smash the windows of two vehicles parked at the Uniontown Mall between 11 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said one of the vehicles belonged to Lynda Marcinko, 38, of Uniontown and the other vehicle belonged to Linda Buck with Value City Furniture in Columbus, Ohio. Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicles, said police.

Gas line cut
Sometime between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 1:15 p.m. Saturday, someone cut the gas line on Elizabeth Marie Ross’ vehicle while it was parked at 174 Brick Road, state police said.

Hit-and-run probed
An unknown vehicle struck a 1991 Civic Honda parked along 5th Street around midnight Saturday, pushing the car into a 1995 Dodge Spirit and causing damage to both vehicles, said state police.

State police at Belle Vernon cited Tara Irene O’Neil, 27, of Republic for harassment and disorderly conduct. Police allege she punched James O’Neil, 32, of Merrittstown in the face on Saturday and then repeatedly drove past his Elm Street, Tower Hill 2 home, honking her car horn and yelling obscenities around 2:30 a.m.

A female juvenile of Liberty Street in Smithfield was cited for allegedly hitting another female juvenile in the stomach on Saturday around 11 p.m., state police at Belle Vernon said.

Crash reported
State police are continuing to investigate what happened in a two-vehicle crash along Route 21 at the intersection of West Penn Street on Saturday evening. Police said Loretta J. McCormick, 48, of 15 E. Elm St. was stopped when a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Masontown man hit into the back of her vehicle.
Both McCormick, the driver of the other vehicle and two passengers in that vehicle were injured in the crash. The male driver was tested to determine if he was intoxicated at the time of the 6:45 p.m. crash. Results of those tests are pending, police said.

State police arrested Alfred C. Smith Jr., 41, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after he lost control of his car and reportedly struck a tree along Township Drive and Coddington Place on Friday around 9:35 p.m.

William Evertt Deberry, 48, of Lemont Furnace told state police that sometime between Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., the driver’s side rear window of his vehicle was damaged. Police said the vehicle was parked at 202 Cottage Ave.

State police at Waynesburg charged Ricky Lee Finn, 24, of Waynesburg with simple assault for allegedly causing injuries to Hilary Dawn Sine, 24, also of Waynesburg. Police said Sine was injured during a domestic dispute between the two at 109 Mountainview Garden Apartments on Friday around 2:45 a.m.

State police at Waynesburg charged Christopher Edward Simyak of Nemacolin with retail theft for allegedly stealing three gallons of gas from BFS Foods along Roy Furman Highway on Saturday around 4 p.m.

Clifford Bowden, 79, of Bobtown told state police at Waynesburg that a fire safe containing cash and personal belongings was stolen from his Titus Street, Bobtown, home between Aug. 27 and Saturday.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash along Whiskey Alley in Carmichaels on Sept. 9, said state police at Waynesburg.
Norman Rush of Rush Road, Carmichaels, was listed as the driver of a Ford truck and Anthony Riggleman of Sheridan Avenue, Nemacolin, was listed as the driver of a Chevrolet coupe.

State police said John Michael Keffer, 21, of Perryopolis was injured when his car drove off Layton Road Monday at 5:20 a.m. and struck a rock. Police said Keffer suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
