Charges filed Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Seth Reed, 20, of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly shouted names and then struck an unidentified male during an Aug. 26 incident in the 1100 block of Race Street.
– Two 16-year-old males, both of Connellsville, with criminal mischief after they allegedly shot a paintball gun and broke six panes of glass at the Connellsville Municipal Authority greenhouse on Sept. 3.
Police said an additional charge of disorderly conduct was filed against one of the teens after he allegedly shot the paintball gun at another juvenile near Yough Park during Timber Days.

Ongoing investigations
Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:
– A Sept. 8 retail theft at the Sheetz Convenience Store along Crawford Avenue when a male with a medium build, short dark hair, wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and ball cap and driving a red Toyota Celica pumped $48.57 in gas and fled without paying the attendant.
– A Sept. 7 theft of a printer and bank bag containing cash and checks from a convertible with its top down parked at a North Pittsburgh Street business.
– A Sept. 7 theft at a Morton Avenue residence. Police said the victim reported that someone forcibly entered a bedroom and removed a wallet and three wristwatches.
– A Sept. 6 theft of a Dewalt Emglo air compressor from a truck parked in the 400 block of Baldwin Avenue.

Curfew violation
West Brownsville police cited two juveniles for violating the borough curfew Saturday after finding the juveniles walking on Riverview Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Both juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Public drunkenness
Brownsville police cited Frank Richard Lester, 33, of Allenport for public drunkenness after police said they observed him staggering on the Lane Bane Bridge.
According to police, Lester was carrying a 12-pack of beer in one hand and an open can in the other. There were six beers missing from the 12-pack, which Lester told police he drank.
The incident occurred Saturday at 1:44 a.m.
Brownsville
Window smashed
Rose Smith of 20 Ann St., Brownsville, told borough police that someone broke the left rear window on her 1996 Dodge Caravan. The incident was reported Monday at 10:17 a.m.

Drug arrests
Two men face various drug charges following a traffic stop for a speeding vehicle.
The driver of the car, Thomas Lukich, 23, of Scenery Hill, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (prescription pills without a prescription) and speeding.
A passenger in the car, Antonio Grey Davis, 21, of Washington, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 16-year-old passenger was released to his parents.
Lukich and Davis were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Herb Mitchell and released on $5,000 unsecured bond. The incident occurred Sept. 3 at 12:42 a.m.

Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:
– A Sept. 3 attempted vehicle theft that occurred along West Peach Street.
– A Sept. 3 criminal mischief when someone spray-painted an area on the front bumper of a vehicle parked at Gibson Terrace.
– The Sept. 3 theft of a black and silver Audiovox cell phone from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 100 block of South Arch Street.
– The Sept. 4 retail theft from the Sunoco A-Plus when a male in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build and short blondish-colored hair fled the store with a carton of cigarettes without paying the attendant. Police said the man was wearing black and gold-colored clothing.

Embalming fluid stolen
State police said 10 bottles of embalming fluid were stolen from Nichols Funeral Home on Main Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers injured
Two state police troopers suffered minor injuries while arresting Samuel Silva, 46, of 134 Rosy Hill Road at his home for domestic assault Monday at 7:12 p.m., state police said. Police said they responded to Silva’s house after receiving a report of domestic violence between him and his 18-year-old son.
Police said he resisted and ignored verbal commands when the officers tried to arrest him. They physically tried to subdue him and used pepper spray to bring him under control, police said. He was arraigned on domestic and aggravated assault charges before Magisterial District Judge Dwight K. Shaner and placed in the county prison. Trooper Michael Irvin had a scrape and a small cut on his wrist and Trooper Justin Duval sprained a finger. Both were treated at Uniontown Hospital.

Door broken
A surveillance camera at The Country Store on Route 40 in Markelysburg filmed two white males breaking the glass door with a chain Tuesday at 2:30 a.m., state police said. The suspects were driving a newer model tan or gold Chevrolet Silverado regular-cab pickup truck with a bug shield, chrome tube side steps and “4×4” decals on the sides of the bed. Unknown suspects attempted to break into Purco Coal Co. on Clinton Road on Sept. 5 by prying open a garage door with a pipe and a piece of lumber, but fled after activating a burglar alarm, state police said. State police said someone stole at muffler and a catalytic converter from Margaret Heady’s garage at her 2nd Street, Vestaburg home sometime between noon on Sept. 7 and 1 p.m. Monday.
Police said the stolen parts were for a Subaru car. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Charges filed
A 17-year-old Waynesburg boy was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he was allegedly involved in a loud dispute on Third Street at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Police said he was found with a blood-alcohol content of .274 percent.

Bar entered
State police said someone stole $1,200 in cash and cartons of cigarettes from the Country Inn Bar located along Oak Hill Road in Thompson 2 sometime between midnight and 1 p.m. Monday. The culprits gained entry into the bar by breaking two windows, police said.

Criminal mischief
According to Brownsville police, someone threw a pear through a window on a garage door at the South Brownsville Volunteer Fire Station at 528 Water St. The incident was reported Monday at 10:51 a.m.
