Minnie F. (Priest) Crum

Minnie F. (Priest) Crum, 94, a guest of Lafayette Manor Nursing Home of Uniontown, Pa and formerly of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Monday, September 12, 2005, in Lafayette Manor. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the now late William E. Priest and Louisa Caton Priest.

She was a protestant by faith and was a graduate of Uniontown High School many years ago.

She was a loving homemaker and wife to her late husband Donald Crum who passed away in 1981.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles Jason Crum in 2004, and a brother, Charles Priest.

Surviving are three children: Betty Casserly of Uniontown, Pa., James William Crum, Sr. and his wife, Catherine of Ruble Mills, Pa., and Donald Edward Crum and his wife, Jane of Mount Bradock, Pa.; a sister, Florence Bixler of Uniontown, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME, of Smithfield, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday until 1 p.m. when services will be conducted with the Rev. George W. McLayghlin Pastor of White House Free Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fayette County Association for the Blind.
