Charles Aaron Hughes
Charles Aaron Hughes, 68, of Dawson, Pa., passed away Wednesday Sept. 14, 2005, comforted by his loving family and into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Dunbar, Pa., a son of the late George and Rosalie Hardy Hughes.
He graduated from Dunbar Township High School with the Class of 1995. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 37 years in the electronics department at Anchor Hocking Cap Division.
He was a past member of the Franklin Memorial Methodist Church in Dunbar.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine (Leighty) Hughes; three children, Ronald K. and wife, Sandy (Knight) Hughes of Connellsville, Charlene (Hughes) McNatt and husband, Harry of Dawson, and Charles A. Jr., and wife, Risa (Lynn) Hughes of White; seven grandchildren, Michelle (McNatt) Charette of Harrisburg, Jeremy McNatt of Dawson, Jason McNatt of Bethlehem, Pa., Brock and Rachael Hughes of Connellsville, and Kaitlyn and Kylie Hughes of White; one great-granddaughter, Makayla Rose Hughes of Connellsville; one brother, George Hughes of Ford City, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Joan (Leighty) Orndoff and husband, Blaine of Pittsburgh..
