Accident claims life
A 23-year-old Normalville man died Wednesday afternoon in an accident while riding a motorcycle on Three Mile Hill on Route 31 near Bear Rocks. The Fayette County Coroner’s office said Eric R. Dunaway of 1044 Camp Wildwood Road died of blunt force trauma to chest and upper body.
He also suffered head injuries even though he was wearing a helmet, according to the coroner’s office.
Deputy Coroner Ross Rock pronounced Dunaway dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office reported that Dunaway was traveling east when he passed a van and then collided with another vehicle, but did not know the name of the woman who was driving the vehicle with which Dunaway collided.
