Job fair set Pennsylvania Senior Workers Advocacy Team (S.W.A.T.) invites Fayette County senior residents to attend Job Fair 2005, an innovative concept in job marketing for senior adults. Workers 45 years and older are invited to attend the event on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion LaFayette Post 51, located at 114 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown.
Toy signup planned
The Salvation Army’s Christmas Baskets and Toys signup for Dawson, Vanderbilt and Perryopolis, will be held the week of Sept. 26-30 at the Dawson Fire Hall, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Yearbooks available
The 2005-2006 Connellsville Area Senior High yearbooks will be distributed the week of Sept. 26-30.
Yearbooks may be picked up at the visitors’ entrance Monday through Friday during lunch periods, 10:50 a.m. to 12:11 p.m., and will also be available for pick-up or purchase on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., near the athletic office. Yearbooks may be purchased while supplies last for $55 cash, no checks.

Support group to meet
A weekly Bereavement Support Group will meet on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m., in the Parish Hall of St. John the Evangelist Church, 908 W. Crawford Ave., Connellsville. The group will continue to meet for several weeks.
