Road work schedule released
The state Department of Transportation’s Fayette County Maintenance Office has announced the following tentative work plan for the week beginning Monday: Substructure repairs will be made to the bridge on state Route 3005, Gans-Woodbridge Road. Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
Base repairs are scheduled for state Route 4005, Grindstone Road; state Route 4013, Strong Road; and state Route 1039, Vanderbilt-Leisenring Road.
Patching is planned for state Route 2001, Skyline Drive; and state Route 2002, Father Kirby Road.
Parallel pipe will be installed on state Route 1055, Starlight Road.
Ditch cleaning is planned for state Route 0166.
Rock lining and replacement of drainage pipe is planned for state Route 1009, Bear Rocks Road.
All maintenance activities are conducted as weather permits. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.
