Donald M. Sarver, 68, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born June 23, 1937, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Victor E. Sarver, who passed away in 1990, and Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Lytle Sarver of Perry, Ohio.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Detrick and Sheila Sarver, one stepchild, Jody Emerick and one step-grandchild, Robin Durst.

He served as fire warden and was a member of the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department.

He was an avid hunter and Nascar race fan.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Nellie M. (Hutzell) Sarver; children: Sue Morrison and husband, Doug of Farmington, Pa., Tina Rodeheaver and husband, Chub of Chalk Hill, Pa., Donald Sarver, Jr. and wife, Kellie of Markleysburg, Pa., and Vicki VanMeter and fianc?, Jeff Cecil of Cresaptown, Md.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; step children: Ricky Butler and girlfriend, Fran Kim, Debbie Boller and husband, Ron and Brenda Brown and husband, Wilbur all of Grantsville, Md.,; a sister, Patricia Cantrell and husband, Alex of Perry, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, Pa., today, September 18, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday until 2 p.m. the hour of service with Pastor Clifford Sarver officiating. Interment will be in Addison Cemetery.

Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department will hold services today at 7:30 p.m.
