Man arrested Raymond Eugene Parker Jr. of 170 Third St., Lemont Furnace, was arrested for allegedly striking two people with his truck outside of an 11 Middle St. residence Saturday at 2:40 a.m., state police said. One person suffered minor injuries. A passenger in Parker’s truck was arguing with a female on the passenger side of the truck, police said. Lea Dawn Gaster of Lemont Furnace and Christopher Paul Braddee of Haydentown stepped in front of the truck and Parker allegedly accelerated, and struck them, police said. Gaster was treated at Uniontown Hospital. Parker was arrested at his residence and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and driving under a DUI-related suspension, and placed in the county prison in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Man hurt in fall

A male was flown to a hospital with injuries he suffered when he fell from a tree at a residence along Mae West Road Saturday at 4:15 p.m., according to Fayette County 911. No other information was available Saturday night.

Theft arrest

Sandy Lee Doyle, 25, of McKeesport was charged with forgery, criminal conspiracy, access device fraud, identity theft, bad checks and theft by unlawful taking for allegedly using bank machines in the McKeesport area to withdraw money from a borough resident’s bank account, borough police said. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rubish and released on unsecured bond. Police said the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are expected.

Equipment stolen

A Lincoln welder, Chicago pneumatic impact wrench, half-ton floor jack and a Miller plasma cutter were stolen from garages at a farm off of Upper River Road in East Millsboro owned by Theodore Yowonske of Belle Vernon between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Theft from church

State police said property valued at $250 was stolen from the Apostolic Temple Church on Main Street between Sept. 11 and 14. Police ask anyone with information about the theft to call the station at 724-929-6262.

Materials stolen

Numerous spools of copper wire and numerous 10-feet pieces of copper tubing were stolen from Pechin Home Center and Lumber in Republic between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

State police said they are investigating an attempted burglary at Center Independent Oil Co.’s Sweet Pea’s convenience store on Route 21 at Leckrone Highhouse Road Tuesday at 4 a.m. Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Darrell M. Jones, 45, of 42 Clark St. was cited with defiant trespass for allegedly entering Flora Ross’ Wilson Avenue home without permission Friday at 11:53 p.m., city police said.

Stacy Jeffries, 27, of 732 Penn Ave., Lemont Furnace, was cited with public drunkenness after she allegedly came to the police station intoxicated Saturday at 3:35 a.m., city police said.

Vehicle accident

State police said Florette Rhodes of Lemont Furnace struck a utility pole on Lebanon Avenue Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m. Her minivan had severe front-end damage. No injuries were reported.

State police said Dale Johnson of Daisytown and William Fowkes of Brownsville suffered minor injuries in an accident on Scenic Drive Monday at 9 a.m.

Counterfeit reported

City police said Patrick R. Stewart of Uniontown reported Saturday at 12:16 a.m. he received a counterfeit $5 bill in change from the A-Plus on Morgantown Street Friday evening.

Yard damaged

City police said a vehicle damaged the front yard of 205 Derrick Ave. Saturday at 12:48 p.m. and officers followed a trail of brake fluid from the scene to a Rear East Craig Street residence. They found the vehicle with a male in the passenger seat, who was wanted on a warrant by state police and turned over to a state trooper. He told police the driver fled from the vehicle.

City police said Jennifer Mae Miller reported her TV was stolen from her Lincoln Street home between 10 and 10:50 p.m. Friday.

Boy cited

A 14-year-old male was cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly exposing his rear end to a 12-year-old girl at the Junior High West football field Friday at 4 p.m., state police said.

Tire damaged

State police said someone damaged a tire on a Fairchance post office truck at the post office Friday night or Saturday morning.

Signs stolen
