Connellsville Richer gains licensing
Allstate Insurance Co. has announced that Kimberly Richer earned her property and casualty license. Richer is a licensed and appointed agency staff member of the Karen L. Stasko Agency, 1032 Morrell Ave., Connellsville. Richer is the daughter of Bernard Lenk and both are Brownsville residents.
“I’m excited that Kim can offer guidance and counseling about our products, helping customers choose what insurance coverages best meet their needs,” said agency owner Karen Stasko, LUTCF. “The property and casualty license enables Kim to help Allstate customers be better prepared and protected when they may need it most.”
The Stasko agency offers a complete line of insurance products and services including auto, property, life, annuities and financial services.

Human resources group meets
Tri-State SHRM has announced its September luncheon workshop on Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Uniontown Holiday Inn, 700 W. Main St.
Dennis Snedden will present “Time Management: Organizing for HR Success.’ The principal in the firm Time Management Services, Snedden is an expert with more than 17 years experience in the field. He will offer easy-to-implement “how tos” and some insightful fun for those wanting to improve time management skills.
Cost is $20 for Tri-State SHRM and its sister organizations (PHRA, WHRA & Fayette Chamber of Commerce); $30 for non-members; $15 for students.

Chamber sponsors workshop
The Connellsville Chamber of Commerce will sponsor “Introduction to Online Business Solutions Workshop,’ featuring representatives of Kiesel and Associates and Nu Relm E-Business Solutions and Software from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Bud Murphy’s in Connellsville.
The aim of the workshop is to help local businesses learn how to utilize the Internet to improve their operations.
Instruction will be provided on identifying the components of an effective Web site; measuring the success of the Web site; keeping Web site content fresh; determining component of their business to facilitate an online presence; and identifying technical solutions to their business practice.

Uniontown
Dursa earns broker status
David Dursa of Howard Hanna Myers Real Estate in Uniontown recently earned his associate broker professional designation from the state of Pennsylvania. Dursa earned this designation after completing 240 hours of classroom instruction and accumulating 200 points in closed real estate transactions enabling him to take the state real estate brokers examination. Dursa passed the state real estate brokers examination on June 30.
Dursa also earned his certified residential specialist designation specializing in marketing residential properties and is also a graduate of The Realtors Institute, earning the national designation of GRI.
He is currently the secretary/treasurer of the Fayette Board of Realtors.
