Vaughn D. Woody “Woody”, 78, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Friday evening, September 16, 2005, in his home. He was born November 2, 1927, in West Leisenring, Pa.

He served in the United States Air Force during World War II.

Woody, as he was known to his friends and family, was a gifted stonemason. He worked on several buildings and homes in the Fayette County area including the Kezmarsky Funeral Home. He will be sadly missed by his friends at the Kezmarsky Funeral Home who respected and loved Woody. He spent a lot of time with special friends at the Saint Vincent DePaul Store.

He is survived by his brother, Donald L. Peffer of West Leisenring, Pa.; two sisters: Joni Cox of Elkins, W.Va. and Bonnie Martin of Uniontown, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by other family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, PA.

At Mr. Woody’s request, funeral services are private.
