Ann M. Skocik, age 90, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 16, 2005. She was a longtime resident of East Chicago and a member of Saint Stanislaw Roman Catholic Church.

Ann was a self-employed beautician who operated Ann’s Beauty Corner for 60 years. She loved her work and interaction with her customers!

Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Andy and John, sisters, Mary, Kate and Vern, and a special cousin, Genevieve Buda.

Ann is survived by her brother, Edward Skocik and his wife, Irene, and their family of Uniontown, Pa.; several cousins from Indiana; and numerous other family members and friends.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., on Wednesday, September 21, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil officiating.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Visitation was held in Indiana on Sunday, September 18, and a Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday morning.
