Donald M. Sarver
Donald M. Sarver, age 68, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born June 23, 1937, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Mary Elizabeth “Libby” (Lytle) Sarver of Perry, Ohio, and the late Victor E. Sarver, who passed away in 1990.
He served as Fire Warden and was a member of the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department.
He was an avid hunter and Nascar race fan.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Sarver Detrick and Sheila Sarver, one stepchild, Jody Emerick, and one step-grandchild, Robin Durst.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Nellie M. (Hutzell) Sarver; children: Sue Morrison and her husband, Doug, of Farmington, Pa., Tina Rodeheaver and her husband, Chub, of Chalk Hill, Pa., Donald Sarver Jr. and his wife, Kellie, of Markleysburg, Pa., and Vicki VanMeter and her fianc?, Jeff Cecil, of Cresaptown, Maryland; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; step children: Ricky Butler and his girlfriend Fran Kim, Debbie Boller and her husband Ron, and Brenda Brown and her husband, Wilbur, all of Grantsville, Maryland; a sister, Patricia Cantrell and her husband, Alex, of Perry, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., today (Monday, September 19) until 2 p.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Clifford Sarver officiating.
Interment will follow in Addison Cemetery, Addison, Pa.
Visitation was also held Sunday, September 18, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department held Services in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
