Zadie Mae Richardson, age 66, of Cardale, Pa., departed this life Friday, September 16, 2005, from Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born July 13, 1939, in Lynndale Terrace on the eastern side of Brownsville, Pa., to Zadie Mae and John Richardson and stepfather, Arthur Marshburn.

She was a past member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Brownsville, Pa., and past member of Queen Esther Chapter No. 19 Order of the Eastern Star and the I.B.P.O.E. Lodge 47, Brownsville, Pa.

Zadie was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, two sisters, O’Della Dunmore and Faith Mitchell, one son, Russell Richardson, two grandsons, Chyzare Hackett and Christopher Hackett, and one granddaughter, Rachel Richardson.

Zadie, affectionately called by her family “Bug” and “Aunt Bug”, leaves to mourn four daughters: Yvonne (Richardson) Hackett and husband Charles, Belle Vernon, Pa., Annette (Richardson) Michaux, Brownsville, Pa., Karen Richardson, Washington, D.C., and LeToya Richardson and her fianc? Acie McCoy, Searights, Pa.; two sons: Bernard Richardson Sr. and Courtney Richardson both of Brownsville, Pa., and son, Keith Johnson, at home; one brother, John “Ed” Richardson and wife Elaine, Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Joan “Peaches” Tracy and husband Edwin, Uniontown, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., today, September 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 20, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Reverend Cynthia Hackett officiating and assisted by the Reverend Dewvaul Tracy Jr.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
