Elaine Dolores Popson Koschock, age 59, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 18, 2005, in her home. She was born January 28, 1946, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Joseph Augustine Popson and Mary Dolores Bobyak Popson.

Elaine was a member of Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., and had graduated from the now former North Union High School.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Girard Koschock, her parents, a brother, Thomas Popson, her father-in-law, Michael Koschock, and two brothers-in-law, James Mochnsky and John Saluga.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ronald Koschock; her loving and devoted children: Cynthia Marie Koschock Rhoades of Hopwood, Pa., and Christopher Jude Koschock and his wife, Renee, of Uniontown, Pa.; her grandchildren whom she loved and adored: Nikolas Joseph Rhoades, Nathan Alan Rhoades, Makayla Michelle Koschock and Marissa Renee Koschock; her sisters: Geraldine Saluga of Uniontown, Pa., and Mary Jo Matthews and her husband, James, of Uniontown, Pa.; her brother, Richard Popson and his wife, Terri, of Hopwood, Pa.; several loving nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Catherine Koschock; her sister-in-law, Marian Mochnsky; and her beloved pet, “Neko”.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday morning, September 21, until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

Divine Liturgy follows at 10 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, East Main Street, Uniontown, with the Reverend Father Thomas J. Wesdock as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint John Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.

A Parasta Service will be held today, September 20, 2005, at 7 p.m.

Visitation was also held Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
