Michael J. Uram, 82, died Sunday, September 18, 2005. He grew up in Keisterville, Pa. and attended Uniontown High School before joining the United State Navy during World War II. After the war, Mike became a plant guard at the United States Edgar Thompson Works in Braddock, Pa., a job that he held for over 30 years.

Mike was a long time resident of Braddock Hills, Pa., and is survived by his wife, Stella Ashetzie Uram, his daughter, Pat Winning Shuey, of Carrollton, Texas, a grandson, John Michael Shuey, and a sister, Marge Paul of Bellville, N.J. as well as many friends and relative in the western Pennsylvania area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Kathrine Findura Uram and two sisters, Kathryn Hoyack and Helen Zidek.

Visitation will be held in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Wednesday evening, September 21, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Father John A. Sedlak officiating and continuing with a Graveside Service at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
