David M. Zimmerman
David M. Zimmerman, 46, of Scottdale, Pa., died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2005, at his residence. He was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1977. David was a retired warehouse loader for Schwans Foods of Scottdale with four years of service. Previously, he had been employed by Waste Management, East Huntingdon Township, with six years of service and with U.S. Steel Clairton Works for several years. He also served as a constable for Everson Borough and Fayette County for 12 years.
In addition to his parents, Eugene I. and Florence T. Linardi Zimmerman of Scottdale, David leaves to cherish his memories his son, whom he loved dearly, Nathan D. Zimmerman of Everson and his mother, Joanne M. Potosky Zimmerman of Everson; his brother, James E. Zimmerman of Morrell, Pa.; a nephew; one great-niece; and a number of uncles and aunts.
David’s Family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. David’s family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to his son, in Nathan’s name, for his Future Education Fund.
