Leona M. Williams
Leona M. Williams, 86, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was an Elder of the First Christian Church of Perryopolis, and was an active participant of the First Christian Church Thrift Shop. A 1938 graduate of California Normal School, she was a thespian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark H. Williams on March 21, 1974, when they resided in Jefferson Township, Pa., and by her parents, Harry S. and Emma M. Robinson of Belle Vernon, Pa.
She is survived by her sons, Paul D. Williams and his wife, Rebecca of Uniontown, Pa., and Edward H. Williams and his wife, JoAnn of Dubois, Pa.; and by her grandchildren, Daniel E. Williams of Baltimore, Md., Kimberly S. Williams of Atlanta, Ga., and Kristin A. Williams of Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, 106 EAST INDEPENDENCE ST., PERRYOPOLIS, PA., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., when a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
