Elizabeth “Beth Ann” Stewart
Elizabeth “Beth Ann” Stewart, 43, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Howard W. Rider, Sr., and Eleanor (Palic) Rider Sickles.
Her father, Howard W. Rider, Sr., paternal grandparents, Ebert and Olive Rider, and maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Palic, preceded her in death.
Surviving is her mother, Eleanor (Palic) Rider Sickles and stepfather, Robert G. Sickles of Uniontown, Pa.; her daughter, Rachael Elizabeth Stewart at home; three brothers: John H. Rider and wife, Diane of Uniontown, Pa., Howard W. Rider, Jr. and wife, Bonnie of Uniontown, and Gary E. Rider and wife, Pauline of Columbia, Pa.; seven nieces and nephews: Jamie and Ashley Rider; Nicholas and Jessica Rider; and Andrew, Adriana and John-Howard Rider.
“Beth Ann” was a member of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church and was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School class of 1979. She graduated from Community College of Allegheny County with a degree in skilled nursing, and was employed as a registered nurse with Bayada Nurses of Pittsburgh for over the past three years.
She was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, and sister. She loved to garden and spend time with her daughter. Her warmth and compassion for those in her care will be missed.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC, AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, September 26, 2005 until 9 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
