Lisa Beth Turko and Dr. Chad Jared Dober were united in marriage on June 11 at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Eugene Yackanich officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Susan Turko of Uniontown. The groom is the son of Duane and Anita Dober of Sistersville, W.Va.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white strapless satin gown with asymmetrical waist, corset back, and sweep train. The gown was embellished with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, and seed beads. The two-tier veil was trimmed in crystal beading.

Maid of honor was Melissa Barger, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Freya Kridle, Amanda Gianola, Lindsay Dober, sister of the groom: Renee Midlik, Megan Shover, Julie Kidd, and Melissa Hefner.

Best man was Bill Campbell. Groomsmen were Chris Garrett, Troy Petrie, Bill Finch, Luke Turko, brother of the bride; J. T. Cook, Ryan Flower and Mike White. Ushers were Matt and Greg Turko, brothers of the bride.

A reception was held in the Crystal Ballroom at Lakeside Party Center.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene. She is a registered dental hygienist at John Dinsmore Family Dentistry in Knoxville, Tenn.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School and a 2000 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.

He earned a doctorate degree in pharmacy from West Virginia University in 2004. He is a registered pharmacist for Walgreen’s in Knoxville, Tenn.

The newlyweds honeymooned at the Riviera Maya in Mexico.

They reside in Knoxville, Tenn.
