Salome “Sally” Yaros Sheranek
Salome “Sally” Yaros Sheranek, age 87, of Petersburg, Virginia, and formerly of Buffington, Fayette County, Pa., passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005, in Our Lady of Hope Nursing Home, Richmond, Virginia. Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., 20 NORTH MILL STREET, NEW SALEM, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 28, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Procopius Roman Catholic Church, New Salem, with the Rev. Father James A. Popochock as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Procopius Cemetery, New Salem, Pa. The New Salem American Legion Auxiliary Unit 753, will conduct services on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
