Mary V. Thomas, 86, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died suddenly on Sunday, September 25, 2005, in her home. She was born on October 17, 1918, in West Leisenring, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Kundrich) Hlubin.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Thomas, her sisters, Margaret Trocheck, Betty Marcinek, Anna Harto, and Dorothy Everly, her brothers, Andrew Hlubin, Jack Harto, Andrew Harto and George Harto and a nephew, Andy Trocheck.

Mary was a member of Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church and was retired from Uniontown Hospital laundry service where she had been employed for over 38 years.

Surviving are her loving nieces and nephews: Magdalene Trocheck Swartz of Uniontown, Pa.; Gertrude Trocheck Lovatz of South Carolina; Patty Everly and Gertrude Everly both of Escondito, Calif.; Theresa Everly Haines of Salem, Ore.; Ann Margaret Trocheck Jenkins of Akron, Ohio; Charles Marcinek of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; John Marcinek, David Trocheck and Andy Trocheck all of Akron, Ohio; and Edward Harto of Florida.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC, AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provide, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, September 29, 2005 until 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
