ARD program
The following people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program between Aug. 9 and Sept. 20 in Fayette County Court. The program is generally for first-time, non-violent offenders. It offers them an opportunity to serve a term of probation in exchange for having their court record expunged.
Those in the program for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) generally have to participate in the county’s alcohol safe-driving school and can be required to forfeit their license for a period of time.
