1 min read

Representatives from the Crime Victim’s Center of Fayette County, Fayette County Children and Youth Services and various other social service agencies joined together at Five Corners West in Uniontown on Friday afternoon to kick off a month of awareness about abuse. CVC fiscal manager Lisa Harvilla organized the effort and said the goal was to remind the public that April is dedicated to sexual assault awareness, child abuse prevention and victims’ rights. Representatives from the Exchange Club, Area Agency on Aging and Healthy Start, in addition to other individuals, attended, Harvilla said.
