PENN STATE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION will offer “Cooking for Crowds” workshop on April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fayette County extension office in Uniontown. The cost is $15 for per person (includes manual) or $5 for those not receiving a manual. This food safety training meets the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture requirements. POINT MARION LIBRARY PRESCHOOL story hour will begin April 14 and will continue each Friday through May 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The library is located in the bottom right hand corner of the Point Manor Personal Care Home, 399 Ontario St., Schoolhouse Hill. BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Sunday School Class, Willing Workers, will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the social room. The spring banquet plans will be discussed.

NEW 50+ FRIENDSHIP CLUB meets every Friday from 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Music ‘n’ More store, 14 South Broadway, Scottdale. Purpose of the club is to meet new people and establish friendships. THE 4CS of the First Christian Church of Republic will hold a used clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the new garage building. Public is welcome.

ST. MARY BOY SCOUT TROOP 620 is holding a pancake breakfast Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the St. Mary School cafeteria. Price is $5 for adult meal and $3 for children meal. Proceeds help defray costs for the troop’s camping trip to Canada.

REDSTONE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1966 will hold a 40th-year class reunion on Oct. 21 at the Torchlight Restaurant, Route 40 West, Uniontown. Classmates knowing of a classmate who has not received an invitation in the past or has a current address of a classmate are asked to call 724-246-9413 or 724-246-1330.

FAYETTE COUNTY SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE BOARD will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday at Central Fellowship Church, Connellsville, All Sunday School workers are invited.

EASTER SEALS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA FAYETTE SITE is holding the eighth annual lily fundraiser. Orders are being taken at 724-437-4047 for a 5-7 bulb potted plant at $8 each until Friday. Orders may be delivered or picked up on April 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

STAR JUNCTION POST OFFICE has on display official licensed products including totes, key chains and Teddy bears. Customers purchasing any of these products from now through April 30 are eligible to win a Mother’s Day gift basket. Winner will be drawn on May 5.

REDSTONE CEMETERY lot owners are asked to remove decorations on lots by April 15 when spring clean up begins. All remaining decorations will be discarded.

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS meets Sundays at 7:45 p.m. at St. Peters Parish House located at 60 Morgantown St., Uniontown. Use the church office entrance.
