Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Cynthia Norman of Smithfield and Kansis Neth of Grindstone collided on Route 119 at 4:34 p.m. Sunday. Police said Norman suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Hit-and-run reported

State police said Mark Connor of Indian Head was charged with several vehicle code violations after the vehicle he was driving crashed on Conner Road at 8 p.m. Friday. Connor allegedly fled the scene of the single-vehicle crash but later was treated for injuries at Highlands Hospital in Connellsville, police said.

Windows smashed

Rosemary VanSickle and Robert VanSickle, both of Point Marion, told state police that the windows of their vehicles were smashed while parked at a business on Morgantown Road between midnight and 12:57 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Woman cited

State police said Leegina Ford, 19, of Brownsville was cited for underage drinking after she was found intoxicated at a business on West Main Street at 5 a.m. Saturday.

No one injured

No one was injured when a tractor-trailer driven by Brian Hess, 29, of Markleysburg overturned on Flat Rock Road at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

Break-in reported

California Borough police are investigating a break-in at the campaign office of Nate Nevala, who is running for the state House of Representatives.

According to police, an officer on patrol found the door to the office ajar on March 18 and contacted Nevala. According to police, several items were missing from the office, including a campaign checkbook. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the California Borough Police at 724-938-3233.

Teens cited

State police said a 17-year-old Uniontown boy and a 16-year-old Lemont Furnace boy were cited for disorderly conduct after an altercation at a business on New Salem Road at 5:51 p.m. Saturday.

Pickup stolen

Kenneth Nicholson of White told state police that his 2003 red Chevrolet pickup, registration YGT8371, was stolen while parked at a business on Route 711 between 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 12:30 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Man charged

State police said Robert J. Shaffer, 20, of Hopwood was charged with simple assault and harassment before Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis after he allegedly pushed Kristen Bigam, 20, of Uniontown to the ground and kicked her several times during an argument at 309 Woodview Terrace at 1:40 p.m. Friday. He was placed in the Fayette County Prison following his arraignment, police said.

Man cited

Roy Keener of Carmichaels was cited for retail theft after an incident at the McClellandtown Road Shop ‘N Save at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

Lawn mower stolen

State police said a red 2003 Sears riding lawn mower owned by Tracy VanSickle of Markleysburg was stolen from a residence on Bruceton Road at 10:35 a.m. Friday.

State police said several trees and a fence on properties owned by Gary Wilson and Verna Grego, both of Dunbar Township, were damaged by a vehicle on West Crawford Avenue at 6:41 a.m. Saturday.

Wallace Murphy of Dunbar Township told state police that a woman he knows kicked him in the back during an argument at 414 Greenfield Road at 7 p.m. Friday, state police said.

State police said two Springfield Township men harassed Sarah Kelly of Springfield Township on Hawkins Hollow Road at 4:58 p.m. Saturday.

Drugs found

State police said they found suspected marijuana on a visiting Pittsburgh woman at the State Correctional Institution at Fayette in Luzerne Township at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Money stolen

State police said $60 was stolen from the Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church in Redstone Township between 1 p.m. Friday and 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Accident reported

Floyd Rosinski, 47, of Perryopolis suffered minor injuries after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a guardrail on Route 51 at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Man charged

State police said Barry Douglas, 31, of Brownsville was charged before Magisterial District Judge Michael Defino with disorderly conduct and harassment after he allegedly struck Victoria Sawka, 20, and Heather Sloan, 21, both of Brownsville, in the face during a dispute at a Route 166 service station at 10:35 p.m. Sunday.

Vehicles collide

State police said vehicles driven by Daniel Fordyce and John Dolobach crashed on Union Street at 4:21 a.m. Sunday. Both men suffered injuries, police said.

Vehicle rolls over

State police said a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old juvenile crashed into an embankment on White Bridge Road and rolled over, ejecting the driver and a passenger from the car at 7:38 p.m. Saturday. The driver and two 17-year-old passengers all suffered injuries in the crash, police said.

Porch struck

State police said a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Merrittstown male crashed into a porch on Elm Street in Tower Hill 2 at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Lloyd Colebank told state police that a white man attempted to damage a trailer parked at his Magnelli Lane residence in Fayette City at 8:34 p.m. Sunday, Southwest Regional Police said.
