Frank Andrew Voytek, 90, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 1:25 P.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. He was born March 31, 1916 in East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pa., a son of the late Matthew and Mary Muko Vojtek.

Mr. Voytek resided in Cumberland Township most of his life and retired from the J & L Steel Shannopin Mine in 1978. He was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church of Carmichaels and the Bobtown Local of the U.M.W.A.

On September 26, 1942, he married Isabel M. O’Laughlin, who died January 12, 2003.

Surviving are two sons: Frank H. Voytek and his wife, Elaine of Uniontown and Donald M. Voytek and his wife, Cheryl of Carmichaels; four grandchildren: Christine Brownfield and her husband, Pat, Ann Marie Detrick and her husband, Todd, Dawn Marie Tamborino and her husband, Chris and Nicole Lynn Colarusso and her husband, Vince; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Voytek and his wife, Carol of Stow, Ohio and Joseph Voytek and his wife, Linda of Perryopolis, Pa.; three sisters: Elizabeth Korelko of Uniontown, Florence Krol of Demotte, Ind. and Irene Czier of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, John Voytek and Matthew Voytek and six sisters, Marion Sarkoff, Margaret Bunda, Amy Carney, Helen Stephenson, Lucille Koza and Dorothy Staviscak.

Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels (724-966-5500) where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30 A. M. on Friday, April 7, 2006, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at Saint Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Rev. John M. Bauer as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible.

A Vigil Service will be held at 3:45 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home.
