Raymond Palone

Raymond Palone, 83, formerly of Crucible, Pa., died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Beverly Health Care, Waynesburg, Pa., after a length illness. Mr. Palone served with the United States Army as a radio operator during World War II. He was a retired expert auto body repairman. He was a pilot, know for flying a plain under the Masontown Bridge.

Surviving are a son, Raymond “Dino” Palone and his wife, Sandi of Jefferson; three daughters: Diane Leppert and husband, Max of Claysville, Angie McMillen of Nemacolin and Donna Rae Santee and husband, Bob of Waynesburg; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Louis Palone and wife, Ann of Rices Landing and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7.
