Bridget E. (Wensing) Curnutte
Bridgett E. (Wensing) Curnutte, 98, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Sunset Village, Sylvania, Ohio. The daughter of Henry and Catherine Wensing. She was born January 12, 1908, in Mount Pleasant, Pa. She was a member of Christ the King Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Bridget enjoyed playing cards, bingo, knitting, crocheting and especially loved to baby-sit her grandchildren and the neighborhood children.
She is survived by her daughters: Patricia (Ed) Pike of Toledo, Ohio, Virginia (Joseph) Umpirowicz of Oxford, MI; sons: Jack Curnutte of Westland, MI, Ed (Nora) Curnutte of Tecumseh, Canada; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard “Jack” V. Curnutte who died in 1960; brothers, Patrick, John, James, Henry and Charles; sisters, Sophia, Mary, Catherine and grandchildren, James Umpirowicz and Michelle Curnutte.
Services were held in Toledo Ohio.
Interment was private at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Uniontown, Pa.
