WOMEN’S DEMOCRATIC CLUB of Uniontown and vicinity will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Post 51, North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. New members are welcome. MORRELL FIRE DEPARTMENT will meet Monday at 7 p.m. instead of Thursday, due to Holy Week observances.
AL-ANON, a 12 step meeting for anyone affected by another person’s drinking, meets every Friday at the Christian Church in Connellsville at 7:30 p.m. The group will not meet on Good Friday. For more information, call 724-628-4910.
NEWELL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, will hold a soup, sandwich and bake sale on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Soups, vegetable and chicken noodle, and hamburgers and hotdogs with sauerkraut, will be offered.
UNIONTOWN CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CLUB will hold a luncheon on Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Uniontown Country Club, 25 Bailey Ave., Uniontown. “Swing into Spring” is the theme with a fashion show by Fashion Bug.
