Barbara Keys Ryan
Barbara Rose Keys Ryan, Age 76, of California, Pa., died Monday, April 10, 2006, in Mon-Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born on February 27, 1930, the daughter of Frank T. Keys and Luba M. Miller Keys.
Mrs. Ryan was a 1948 graduate of E. Beth High School.
She was a deeply devoted military wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and was an avid Steelers fan.
She was Catholic by faith.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Lieutenant Colonel James Ryan Jr. (United States Marine Corps) who died in October 7, 1989, one sister, Ida Maydak, and two brothers, Frank (Bud) Keys and Jimmy Keys.
Mrs. Ryan is survived by one son, Sean J. Ryan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one daughter, Colleen M. Ryan and her husband Michael Stanton of Apex, North Carolina; two grandsons: Sean Patrick Ryan and Joshua C. Ryan; one sister, Frances Kadonick of California, Pa.; a special niece and aide Barbara Setaro and her husband Tony and their family of Malden, Pa.; and several other highly regarded nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, Pa., today from 4 to 9 p.m.
A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, at 1 p.m. with Deacon Thomas Raymond officiating.
Interment will be in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
