Dawnrae Hammond-Schrock
Dawnrae (Rae) Hammond-Schrock, age 39, of Squirrel Hill, Pa., formerly of Lowhill, Pa., died unexpectedly April 9, 2006, in her home. She was born January 21, 1967, in Charleroi, Pa., the daughter of Ray Howard Hammond and Vivian Crumrine Hammond of Orlando, Florida.
Mrs. Hammond-Schrock attended Bethlehem Center Schools and was a 1984 graduate of California High School. She was also a graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor Degree in Communications.
She had been a homemaker and was a former girlscout leader.
She was a member of THE Church in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Hammond-Schrock was a member of the 1-107 Field Artillery Batallion family support group
She loved her family and her two Chihuahua’s, Peso and Jinx.
She was predeceased by her father and her mother-in-law, Freda Schrock.
She is survived by her husband Leroy Schrock of Squirrel Hill, Pa.; one daughter, Genesis (Gigi) Hammond-Schrock of Squirrel Hill, Pa.; one son Maximillian Vonn Hammond-Schrock of Squirrel Hill, Pa.; one brother, Frank Hammond of Orlando, Florida; one sister, Denise Hammond of Lowhill, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Eloise Crumrine of Lowhill, Pa.; father-in-law, James Schrock of Harmar Township, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, Route 40, Beallsville, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, at noon p.m. with the Rev. Thomas St. Clair officiating.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
