Jeana Lynn Rouse, age 18, of Grindstone, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2006, in Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., with her family at her side. She was born on March 25, 1988, in Uniontown, Pa., the cherished daughter of William Rouse and Cheryl Spollar Rouse of Grindstone, Pa.

Jeana was a senior at Brownsville Area High School and a member of various clubs and activities. She was a starting Pitcher for the Ladies Falcon Softball Team and a member of the Lady Falcon Basketball team and a member of the Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville, Pa.

She was employed at McDonald’s in Grindstone, Pa.

Jeana loved life and having a good time with her friends and spending vacations at the beach.

Besides her parents she is survived by a brother, William A. Rouse and his wife, Kristy of Grindstone, Pa.; paternal grandmother, Pamela Rouse of Chestnut Ridge, Pa.; aunts and uncles: Joseph and Kathleen Vlkojan, Randall and Sharon Rouse, Craig and Joann Rouse, Larry and Tammy Williams; cousins: Angela and Krista Vlkojan, Leonard Pasquale, Diane Williams, Johnathan and Keri Rouse; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and teachers; and her loving puppy, Brinkley.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, William L. Rouse, Sr., maternal grandparents, Anthony and Jean Spollar and uncle, Anthony Spollar.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa. on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m.

A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, April 17, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in the HISTORIC CHURCH OF SAINT PETER in Brownsville, Pa, with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., a Parish Rosary Service will be recited on Saturday at 3 p.m.
