Irene Fike, 61, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006, at her home. She was born November 8, 1944, in Markleysburg daughter, of Thelma L. Varndell Fike of Markleysburg and the late Orville P. Fike. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by a son Christopher S. Fike.

Surviving in addition to her mother are three children: Cherie S. Clifford and husband, Bob of Uniontown, Richard W. Fike Jr. and wife, Deborah of Farmington, Mark A. Fike and wife, Jennifer of Farmington; seven grandchildren: John R. Clifford III, Dylan P. Clifford, Melissa N. Clifford, Eric W. Frey, Sarah D. Fike, Melanie A. Fike and Mark A. Fike Jr.; two sisters and a brother: Elsie L. Show and husband, Ron of Uniontown, Melvin P. Fike and wife, Twila of Markleysburg, Madeline R. Hess and husband, Walt of Markleysburg.

Irene had been employed with Fayette Bank, later First National of Pa. with over 20 years of service. She had been a member of Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dale Rexrode officiating.

Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
