Anna Catherine Marhefka Petonic, 93, of Scottdale, Pa., died Thursday, April 13, 2006 in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant, Pa. Prior to World War II, she was employed as a housekeeper and also was employed by Robertshaw Controls, Youngwood, during World War II.

Surviving are her son, David G. Petonic and his wife, Dorean N. of Scottdale and granddaughters; sisters: Frances Zaffina and her husband, Felix of Scottdale, Clare Grohal and her husband, John of Norvelt, Bernadette McClintock and husband, Donald of Ruffsdale; nieces and nephews.

Family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
